Low Flow Shower Head

Low Flow Shower Head
A low flow shower head consumes 2.5 gallons of water per minute or less. Older less efficient shower heads use 4-7 gallons of water per minute.
Low flow shower heads have a restriction placed inside to keep the water coming out at the preferred slower rate. This restriction is often an O ring.
Head Types
Aerating – This type of head sprays very tiny water droplets. The tiny droplets tickle your back. Because you are getting hit by so many water droplets it feels like you are a high flow head.
Jet Spray – This is the regular head without aeration.
Massage – Pulsating water streams make for a more powerful water force needed to rinse long hair and to massage. Massage heads have at least 4 settings.
